Doctor Who Inspired Travel Wallet

I've been a fan of Doctor Who since before the 2005 series started. I love it! I started making a travel wallet and decided to do it in a DW theme :) Everything was stenciled using butcher's paper that I cut out by hand. I even did an Adipose print on the inside! There are a ton of pockets, some clear, and also a zippered pouch that runs along the entire inside of the wallet. Follow the link below to see the back and inside!

Cuts of Meat Dress!

This dress was inspired by a dress on Etsy! All the prints were done using Butcher's paper that I hand cut and painted the stencils. Follow the link below for some detail shots!

Monster High - Abbey Bominable Duffel Bag

I've been wanting to make a duffel bag for a super long time! This one was inspired by Abbey Bominable, a super cute character from Monster High. She's supposed to be the daughter of a yeti so her color story reflects a winter palette (with pink thrown in for good measure). I made the pattern using strips of butcher's paper and hand painting the sections. One side has a zippered pocket and I added plastic d-rings for the option of using the long strap. The keychain is Abbey's pet Shiver, a little woolly mammoth which I made out of felt and faux fur.

Adventures in Silk Screen Alternatives!

For some time, I had been reading about using Butcher's Paper as an alternative to the time consuming and frequently frustrating process of throwing a screen without a light table. While in Winnipeg for Christmas, my dad picked up a few meters from a client and surprised me with it! I was so excited to try it out, and I have to say it's amazing! Other than the tedius requirement of manually cutting everything out, I've found you can reuse them a few times if you are careful :)
